The Blue Earth Summit's Pitch Tent is back in 2022 with an expanded format that sees the addition of two new categories added to the mix, offering pioneering adventurers and non-profit organisations the opportunity to pitch for funding and support.

Adventure Uncovered is delighted to partner with Blue Earth Summit as the presenting partner of The Pitch Tent: Pioneering Adventure category, and together with Blue Earth Summit we are calling on adventurers and explorers to apply for the chance to pitch an adventure with purpose, to gain financial backing or logistical support from a room full of potential sponsors & investors. Although there's no guarantee of funding for the winning pitch at this year's event, there will be a room full of the right people to hear the pitches with the aim of it resulting in funding.

The category aims to provide a platform for adventure that is open to all, from amateurs to professionals, from any background. Designed to break down traditional barriers to entry, the only requirement to pitch is a robust plan for an ambitious, purpose-driven adventure that’s never been attempted before.

Applications to the Pioneering Adventure category are open now through the Blue Earth Summit website, with entries closing on Thursday 8th September.

Adventurers and explorers can apply here to turn ambitious plans into groundbreaking reality.

If you're a brand or organisation interested in investing in this year's winning pitch either through product or financial support, please contact info@adventureuncovered.com

About Blue Earth Summit

Blue Earth Summit is returning to Bristol for a second year, with an expanded programme running over three days and a new, larger venue to play host to up to 5000 attendees.

A breakthrough business event with a difference, Blue Earth Summit harnesses the power of the outdoors to inspire sustainable mindsets and foster meaningful connections. Day 3 of the event is hosted at The Wave, enabling attendees to get outdoors and get active.

11-13 October will bring together a community of business professionals looking to make a positive impact and affect change at their place of work.

Whether you’re from the most innovative outdoor brand or the biggest global service provider, it’s our shared belief that business must be a force for good in protecting our planet and its people.

Reconnecting with nature

The event is built around the belief that the great outdoors can be a catalyst for great ideas, and that networking is better done out on a trail run than in a stuffy conference hall. Networking in a traditional format just doesn’t cut the mustard these days; that’s why Day 3 of Blue Earth is hosted at The Wave.

Bringing together makers, mavericks, founders, futurists, adventurers and investors creates a unique opportunity to meet with like-minded attendees who are putting sustainability at the forefront of business.

After a packed schedule of content at PropYard, attendees will head to The Wave, where they can surf, swim, run, cycle and climb with these newly made connections.

The event provides a vibrant platform to spark natural connection between business and industry. Blue Earth Summit is designed to be a place of positive action and can-do attitude inspired by the great outdoors.

“Networking can often be seen as a cynical exchange of business cards but the exchange of mutually beneficial ideas at last year’s summit was extraordinary,” said Will Hayler, Blue Earth Summit co-founder.

“It was the first time so many people with shared visions and values had been able to connect in a business context. The energy and ideas both in the room and out in the open were amazing.”
