Published from 2020 to 2023, Editions were thematic collections of adventure storytelling - interviews, articles, long form features, films, photography, curated lists and more - exploring the intersection of adventure and social and environmental change.

Transition explores stories about some of the many changes guiding and emerging from adventure culture.

Autumn takes the natural world from abundance to darkness. It is a traditional time of harvest: of taking stock, giving thanks and acknowledging our role as environmental stewards. But what does the outdoor community's stewardship - of land, community, adventure - look like in today's autumnal world, teetering as it is somewhere between abundance and darkness? This Edition takes a look.

In many ways adventure is rooted in abundance. Nature’s awe, new places to experience, the promise of feeling alive - the great, endless unknown. Abundance celebrates some of this abundance, but takes a critical and creative look at some of the ways it plays out.

Emergence explores the excitements, uncertainties and complexities that come with moving into the light - as ever, at the intersection of adventure and social and environmental change.

Slowing Down celebrates adventure stories swimming against the current of being fastest, best and first. It’s a fitting theme, after a year of confinement and reflection, and is about so much more than moving slowly.

As the dust settles, and the dried grit hardens on our Ride the Change caps, we asked riders to reflect on, look back and digest what happened in that week at the end of October, when a load of us took to our bikes, loaded vans with snacks and packs and cycled to Glasgow to mark the significance of the international 26th Conference of Parties.
