Bike touring through the political stories of US climate change

In 2019 Florian Reber cycled 6,300km through North America, collecting stories of climate-change responses as he went. Late in 2020 our Editor Sam spoke with him about his journey, and the often political nature of the stories he heard.

Florian Reber is a sustainability strategist and outdoors enthusiast. He currently works as a Community Lead for the World Economic Forum's 1t.org project. He has also worked widely as an independent consultant and advisor to international organisations, private companies, think tanks and NGOs. His work focuses on the development and implementation of strategies, partnerships and dialogues to accelerate and broaden climate action. He started the Tales of Change project during a sabbatical year to combine his passion for the outdoors with his professional expertise in climate change and systems transformation.
