In Conversation with award winning filmmaker Dom Bush, Director of Blackthorn

An award-winning cinematographer and director based in Kendal, Dom Bush's work largely revolves around engaging character-led films and connection. We've been drawn to one of his latest short films 'Blackthorn', which follows poet and dry stone waller Sam Robinson.

Dom is a Director and Cinematographer. He set up Land & Sky in 2011 and has been part of the documentary and adventure industries for a decade. He has won many awards for his work and is passionate about creating engaging character-led films for brands and organisations. His portfolio includes work with the BBC, Doc Society, BFI, Channel 4 and the Guardian. He is also a qualified higher education teacher. Dom is part of the 2021 BAFTA Crew program.
